The 2018 Powerhousing Member Exchange is set to take place on 21-23 August in Canberra. The setting in the national capital provides excellent opportunities for networking at the National Convention Centre, Australian Parliament House’s stately Mural Hall and the National Gallery of Australia Awards Dinner.

The community housing sector has come a long way in the past 12 months and we are absolutely well-positioned in the lead up to the next Federal election to network, collaborate and share knowledge in the seat of government.

The conference theme focuses on PowerHousing Australia’s role in facilitating Member Exchange through the words ‘Engines for Action – CHPs Igniting and Powering Australian Social Change’. Keynote speakers include Piers Williamson, Chief Executive of The Housing Finance Corporation in the UK and Doug Bibby, President of the US’ National Multifamily Housing Council.

Topics of interest for the exchange have been sought from our members’ best practice and international examples of social and affordable housing delivery. PowerHousing’s recurring program of Roundtables and Communities of Practice wrap around the conference itself as a key part of the program.
