There are plenty of affordable housing options across Australia within an hour of capital cities; in fact there are 154 suburbs where the median value of a house is less than $300,000. The localities in the list range between six and 85 kilometres from city centres. Adelaide suburbs comprise the majority of these ‘uber’ affordable locations, comprising 28% of the list.
