Housing affordability improves in Sept qtr

08-Dec-2011 It has become that bit easier for Australians to buy a property, with new figures showing a modest improvement in housing affordability in most parts of the country. The Real Estate Institute of Australia (REIA) - Deposit Power Housing Affordability Report showed the proportion of income required to meet loan repayments dropped one percentage point to 33.6 per cent during the September quarter.  Read More...
