AWARDS

 “Excellence in Customer Deliver”

We encourage all CEO’s to consider nominating one of your staff members for one of the 2 [TWO] “Excellence in Customer Delivery” awards.  If your staff member has provided exemplary Customer Delivery over the past 12 months from any area of your organisation’s operation then we want to know about it.   We have now received 5 nominations from our CEO's, but we are sure that many of our Members have staff who would certainly be worthy recipients of this outstanding AWARD.  Please get your nominations in NOW.

Send a short brief detailing why your staff member should be recognised by their peers at the Conference Banquet.

The Lifetime Achievement Award For Services To Community Housing will also be presented.

IHP SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION.

To win one of the TWO scholarships of $6,000 to attend the October 2012 IHP Conference in beautiful Vancouver, competition entries must be received by 22 February and can be sent to info@powerhousingaustralia.com.au.  The topics form  part of the Vancouver conference agenda:

1]  Social Returns on Investment [SROI] in the housing sector;

2]  Community Investment leading to Community empowerment.

Competition entries can be a paper (maximum of 2 x A4 type-written pages with up to 8 accompanying images) or presentation [maximum of 8 presentation slides] on either of the two topics.

Plenary's:

Day 1:  We will consider our future directives with the opening session setting the scene with a Hypothetical: 2020 Vision. 

Policy Settings, Institutional arrangements and the capacity of the Australian affordable housing sector:  where are we at and where are we heading?

Day 2:  Up-skilling our Boards will be the Plenary topic in the morning, concluding the day with discussion on the International Housing Partnership (IHP).

Dr. Tony Gilmour will deliver the closing precis of the Conference proceedings.

Breakout Sessions:

These will cover such topics as Finance, Governance, and Operations will be covered (Please see the attached Agenda for further information).
